Workshop day. With cake and coke!
After our research going out on the streets and in to peoples home interviewing them about their current TV experience we learned that everyone is different. Everyone has different needs, wants and behaviors. From this we created 7 personas that where based on the different behaviors that we found.
These are three of the personas and their behaviors around the tv and tv content.
So when creating our concept we learned from the research and personas that we need to keep in mind the social aspect (on different levels), create a deeper content experience and that the solution should be relevant, easy and intuitive.
So we came up with SVT CLEVER.
SVT Clever is your soulmate, because it cares about you. This time you don’t have to tell it, it tells you.
SVT Clever aloud you to define your profile.
To refine your profile with for examples likes and dislikes of the content.
It will remember and recognize you.
From your behavior using SVT Clever it will create a schedule for you.
So the more you use SVT Clever the more it will know you and make a more efficient TV experience for you!
Amadeus Horror Movie
The Amadeus team exists out of 6 Hyper Island students following the Interactive Art Director program in Stockholm. The teammembers: Charlie (FRA), Charlon (NED), Luis (POR), Reidun (NOR) Pauline (SWE) and Samuel (SPA).

Right now we are in the module called User Experience and Interaction design. The brief we got for this module was from SVT play, an online on demand TV-channel in Sweden.
The assignment in short: With the help of a user-centered design process, you and your team shall gather knowledge, analyze and create synthesis based on SVT’s problems.
You need to take the synthesis and create a prototype that you evaluate with usability testings and other design methods to create passionate, wonderful and magic services for the Swedish people. Show how to use and interact with SVT Play on large TV-screens. Motivate why SVT should promote your solution in 2013
In spring 2013, it is time for the next big campaign. This time, SVT wish to tell you how easy it is to watch and control SVT Play on a regular TV.
On this blog we are showing our process and ideas around this project and the different workshops we are doing. We are very open for feedback, so if you feel like sharing, please do!
“Designing for kids” workshop with Tove Blomgren from Doberman.
This is our awesome one day workshop in pictures for ya!
First we had to find a service problem. We choose SCAS, our student administrative platform.
Then we researched the service and gained some findings of peoples feeling about SCAS and what to improve. Students said the SCAS service felt messy with too many clicks to get where you wanted and there was no user-friendly structure.
This made us come up with the idea: YOUR DASH. A customized dashboard app for your computer and phone. Now you’re only one click away from the information you need.
We storyboarded the solution, made prototypes, did prototype testing and finally we refined the prototype and presented the solution.
Heres a video from our research process:
How to use the Dash Board app:
Good day indeed.
Hej, hur mår du?
We are 6 fantastic students of Interactive Art Director at Hyper Island, Stockholm. Last week we started our User Experience and Interaction Design module. They gave us a fun and interesting brief on STV play, which the online on demand TV-channel.
In this blog we are going to track our process as we go. To let you see how we work, and how we ended up with this (hopefully) great product.
